dear my lovely, lovely friends,
i write to you today in greeting, but also with a proposition. we have discussed this around the dinner table before, but i would like to bring it up once more. but of course, i get ahead of myself.
how have you been so far this summer? i know many of you are probably not having the easiest of times, it is definitely an adjustment from the environment at uni. what have you been doing to keep yourself busy, or at least pass the time
as im sure many of you have been able to guess, especially after all of my rude dissaperances last year, that i am generally a pretty solitary person. i find it challenging to engage with people for long times, even when i like them and desparately want to spend time with them. if i have at any point made you feel undervalued as my friend, i am very sorry, and that was not my intention.
all of that aside, i come now to my proposition. i suggest that we establish mailboxes on each of our sites, and write to one another letters. as simple as an online pen pal, with the twist that they are published on our websites. i, as you may have noticed, have no particular issues with getting very personal on here, so i will probably be writing these as if it was just you recieving it. my hope is that we can write each other one on one, and enjoy this project together. i addessed this letter widely, because im unsure of how many of you will actually want to participate. in the future i intend to be posting individual letters to people.
you can format it however you wish, obviously, im not your mom (yet). but i will be heading my letters as follows: date, recipient name, title. and then as the first line, if my letter is a response to your letter, i will link your letter (or mail page, depending) before everything else.
if you are reading this and do not have a personal page yet, this might be a fun time to make one! i know a few of you have shared an interest in doing so, maybe now is your chance. i would love to write letters to you.
i do not have much more to say at the moment, i mostly wanted to write to invite you all. i hope we can create this fun project together.
